Day 1: Arrive Saigon

After arrival, meet guide and transfer to hotel on central square. After check-in, enjoy a tour around Saigon, visiting central Saigon’s historical sites, including the grand French Colonial Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Reunification Palace. Afterwards, free to stroll the central quarter area, highlighting crafts shops and art galleries.

Day 2: Saigon – Can Tho

Leave Saigon for a scenic drive to the “rice basket” of Vietnam, the vibrant Mekong Delta. After arrival in Cai Be, board sampan and cruise along the shady canals to explore the local floating market and An Binh Island, stop to visit a local farming family and orchard grove to learn the cultivation of longan trees. After sharing lunch of local specialties and exotic fruits, bid farewell and continue on to Can Tho, the largest city in the delta.

Day 3: Can Tho – Chau Doc

Depart from hotel dock in early morning for cruise to the vibrant Can Tho Floating Market, one of Southeast Asia’s last authentic floating markets and certainly the most liveliest. Afterwards, return to the resort for breakfast before continued sightseeing in the delta on the way to Chau Doc, bordering Cambodia. After lunch, visiting local villages in this area, some of the Muslim and ethnic Khmer and the colorful Lady Chua Xu Temple and Cavern Pagoda.

Day 4: Chau Do – Phnom Penh

Early departure by boat from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh, the sleepy capital of Cambodia by speedboat (clearing immigration and customs en route).
